LaunchPad

Inmarsat LaunchPad is a standard user interface that can be used across all FleetBroadband terminals.

LaunchPad users may also download and install, separate to LaunchPad, our Inmarsat-developed TCP Accelerator software which significantly enhances the performance of TCP traffic in the 'send' direction

Please check the compatibility listings and ensure your terminal is compatible with Inmarsat LaunchPad v5.01

** Requires Java JRE 6u2 to be installed on your PC.If not already installed LaunchPad will prompt you for Java JRE 6u2 during the install process.You can install Java JRE 6u2 automatically from java.sun.com during the install process or download it above.
If you download Java JRE 6u2 separately please install it before running the LaunchPad installer.

TCP Accelerator

Download the Inmarsat-developed TCP Accelerator software here and send faster emails and data files via FleetBroadband.

It is installed on a FleetBroadband user’s PC and significantly enhances the performance of TCP traffic over FleetBroadband in the ‘send’ direction.

By continuing to use TCP Accelerator you are confirming your acceptance of these new Terms and Conditions.

TCP Accelerator version 2

For Windows Operating System please take the following two steps to install and use the TCP Accelerator:

  • Download and install the TCP Accelerator
  • Enable TCP Accelerator in FleetBroadband LaunchPad and LaunchPad will manage the TCP Accelerator automatically. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the relevant TCP Accelerator manual.

TCP Accelerator version 1

For Mac OSX there are three steps to use the TCP Accelerator:

  • Download TCP Accelerator files – please note that the PowerMac and Intel Duo have different installers.
  • Unzip and install the two files contained in the downloaded zip file – please read the manual for instructions.
  • Enable TCP Accelerator in FleetBroadband LaunchPad and LaunchPad will manage the TCP Accelerator automatically. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the TCP Accelerator manual.

Note: Version 2 of TCP Accelerator for MAC will follow shortly.
