L-Max is a wideband streaming L-band service developed in response to government specific Communications-On-The-Move (COTM) requirements for high throughput connectivity and small aperture capability.
This award-winning capability (marketed in the USA as WiSL) has delivered record-breaking data rates as high as 10 Mbps x 10 Mbps.
Terminal solutions leverage existing installed antennas, including mechanically steered antennas and advanced low-profile, phased-array antennas. WiSL gives users unparalleled coverage and performance for their COTM connectivity needs, while retaining the ease of use, reliability and low cost of ownership through Inmarsat’s global network.
